Matrix Recruitment is seeking to recruitanRenewable Energy Project Managerfor our client based in the County Kildare area.

You will oversee the planning & execution of large renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance & effective stakeholder communication.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Manage and submit planning applications for renewable energy projects.

• Partner Coordination: Oversee joint venture relationships and contracts.

• Project Management: Monitor budgets, assess risks, and keep projects on track.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with local communities and authorities.

• Evaluate Opportunities: Assess feasibility of potential projects.

• Team Leadership: Lead the team and ensure health and safety standards.

What are we looking for?

• Education: A degree in engineering, environmental science, or planning; a postgraduate qualification is a plus.

• Experience: 7-10 years in project management, with 3-5 years in a senior role, especially in renewable energy or infrastructure.

• Skills: Strong in program and contract management, budgeting, and stakeholder communication.

• Professional Membership: Membership in relevant professional bodies is desirable.

• Technical Proficiency: Proficient in MS Project, Word, and Excel.

• Leadership Abilities: Experience in managing diverse teams and fostering professional development.
