Matrix Recruitment is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our client, a growing and well-established food company based in Kildare. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to take on a key role within a dynamic and collaborative team and evolving business.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you will play a crucial role in financial reporting, stock management, and ensuring strong financial controls are maintained across the business. 

Your new job
Key duties and responsibilities:

• Preparation and analysis of weekly and monthly financial reports
• Completion of monthly reconciliations within tight deadlines
• Preparing monthly board packs and providing financial insights
• Monitoring and managing stock levels and inventory movements
• Overseeing Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
• Managing a team of finance professionals
• Ensuring compliance with revenue reporting requirements across the UK, Ireland, and Europe
• Collaborating with the wider finance team to support business objectives

What are we looking for?

• A finance professional with 2+ years of experience in a similar role
• Accountancy qualification preferred
• People management experience
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel is essential, and proficiency in ERP systems is preferred
• Supply chain experience beneficial
• A self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-moving environment
