Key duties & responsibilities:
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Leading production trials and process modifications to develop new and improved products.
- Coaching and mentoring junior engineers and operational teams to boost technical expertise.
- Driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives and ensuring operational excellence.
- Supporting maintenance teams and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Managing and delivering large-scale projects and capital investments.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
What are we looking for?
- Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering (or a related field).
- Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification is a plus!
- 3+ years of experience in a process or project environment
- Hands on experience in an Industrial Manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of steam systems, heavy rotating machinery, & utilities.
- Key skills: Problem-solving, analytical mindset, thrives under pressure, self-motivated, enthusiastic, & driven by continuous improvement.
