Would you like to work for a well-established manufacturing company in Co. Longford?

Matrix Recruitment is working closely with our client to recruit an experienced Senior HR Officer to join their team.

This is a permanent job. Full time onsite Mon-Fri.

Your new job

You will provide full cycle recruitment support, employee onboarding, inductions and participate in grievances/disciplinaries & investigations.

Key duties & responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle, job postings, candidate screening, interviews, onboarding & inductions.

  • Participate in employee grievances, hearings, disciplinaries & investigations. (Must have WRC experience)

  • Manage & maintain employee records, absenteeism, compliance documentation and data

  • Employee contracts

  • Oversee work visa’s & permits

  • Handle employee inquiries i.e. HR policies/procedures

  • Prepare reports and HR analytics/statistics

  • Assist in the recruitment process i.e. candidate screening/interviews

 

What are we looking for?

  • 4-5 years HR Officer experience working in a similar role

  • 3rd Level HR/CIPD qualification or working towards – essential.

  • MUST HAVE experience with employee disciplinaries & grievances – essential

  • Knowledge of Employment Law - essential

  • Knowledge of Irish Tax/Payroll Law - essential

  • Must have WRC experience

  • Experience using ERP/HR management systems

  • Proficient with MS office i.e. Word, Excel & PowerPoint

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment within a team environment.

  • Strong communication/people skills

  • Strong planning and organisational skills with a high standard of accuracy.

  • Fluent in English written & oral

  • Must have own transport and full Irish driving license
