We are working with a leading globally based manufacturing company who are seeking a Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team.

Reporting to the Production Manager this position will be pivotal in leading and developing the manufacturing team in the day-to-day operations.

Please note that this position is on a Three Cycle shift pattern, on an alternating basis.

Your new job

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assign tasks ensuring maximum uptime is utilised

• Carrying out training/upskilling to manufacturing employees

• Work cross functionally with other departments

• Ensure a high level of housekeeping, in the production area/machines and equipment

• Manage Manufacturing team members in areas of disciplinary, performance and motivations. Ultimately achieving plant metrics.

• Involved in the production process support from raw materials phase to finished goods.

• Health and Safety focussed, following H&S policies and involved in reporting safety hazards and incidents.

What are we looking for?

• Leadership experience in a lean manufacturing environment

• Strong knowledge of a Production process from raw material phase to finished goods

• Ability to lead people, manage and motivate a manufacturing team

• Exposure to working cross functionally with other departments
