Our client based in Kilkenny, an iconic Irish Agri business, are seeking a Fitters Assistant – Night Shift to join their team.
The successful candidate will play a critical role which will involve supporting fitters in their daily tasks, ensuring the smooth operation of the workshop, and performing a variety of duties with on-the-job training provided.
This is a Full Time Permanent Position with a competitive salary package + shift allowance, training and development opportunities and supportive working environment.

Your new job
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Assist fitters in their roles, providing hands-on support where required.
- Rig and sling equipment (training will be provided).
- Read and work with measurements and measuring tapes (training will be provided).
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the workshop.
- Paint equipment to required standards.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs (training will be provided).
- Handle any other ad hoc duties as required.
What are we looking for?
- Fluent or strong understanding of the English language.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
