Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit – R&D Project Manager  for our client, based in Kildare.

This is a Permanent role, managing end-to-end R&D projects to drive innovation and growth, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Oversee R&D projects through the 3D Innovation Process (Discover, Develop, Deliver).

• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain an active innovation pipeline.

• Design, conduct, and review experiments with R&D Technologists.

• Regularly update stakeholders on project progress and technical advancements.

• Contribute to training materials and maintain project documentation.

What are we looking for?

• M.Sc. or PhD in Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.

• 3+ years in the food industry, preferably with experience in sensory analysis, food manufacturing, or meat processing.

• Proven track record of product or technology innovations.

• Strong project management and communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical/data analysis software (e.g., Unscrambler, MATLAB).
