What you need to know

A well-established company in Westmeath is seeking a Part- Time Office Administrator to join their team on a 6–9-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role, is confident in managing office functions, and has strong IT skills.

This is part- time contract position working a 20-hr week.

 

Your new job

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Finance Manager in daily administrative and financial tasks.

  • Perform general office administration duties.

  • Arrange meetings and handle administrative team requirements.

  • Manage office operations, including supplies and equipment maintenance.

  • Conduct research and compile reports as needed.

  • Open, sort, and distribute mail and faxes.

  • Organise travel arrangements for staff.

  • Create, edit, and maintain spreadsheets and documents.

  • Prepare invoices, memos, and financial statements using word processing or presentation software.

  • Monitor and respond to daily communications and queries.

  • Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts.

  • Ensure accuracy of payments, amounts, and records.

  • Work with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers, and journals.

  • Record and file cash transactions.

  • Manage credit control and debt chasing.

  • Process invoices and file documentation.

  • Handle bank reconciliations and expense processing.

  • Liaise with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers.

  • Maintain procedural documentation and assist with compliance management.

What are we looking for?

  • 2-3+ years of administrative experience in an office setting.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
