Job description

I am working closely with my client in the healthcare sector who is looking to hire a HR Manager (14 month contract) to join their team.

This role will be based in Tullamore, Co. Offaly with hybrid working

As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for the operational HR functions ensuring compliance of legislation & best practice.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Develop & implement HR strategies

  • Work with services to provide HR leadership

  • Liaise with external providers i.e. pension, legal reps & training providers

  • Update policies & procedures as required.

  • Provide support & coaching relating to employee matters

  • Support & advise management on staff grievances, disciplinary matters & performance reviews.

  • Manage the organisations recruitment policy i.e. inductions, onboarding & training.

  • Prepare monthly HR metrics for the finance team

  • Develop performance objectives and management of PMS system

  • Flexibility to travel - must have own transport and full Irish Driving License

What are we looking for?

Essential requirements:

  • 3rd Level Degree/Masters in HR & CIPD membership

  • At least 5 years HR experience in a senior/management role

  • Working knowledge of Irish tax laws

  • Working knowledge/experience in Irish HR legislation

  • Have own transport and full Irish driving license

Other Requirements (Desirable)

  • Change management experience

  • Recruitment experience

  • Ability to evaluate training needs and implement relevant programmes.

  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, HR Locker, OneTouch, Eloomi/or ViClarity

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, influencing & decision-making skills

  • Ability to project manage high level tasks
