Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Manager for our client, a luxury 5-star establishment, based in Kildare.

This role offers the opportunity to lead HR functions in a vibrant, fast-paced environment, reporting directly to the Director and joining a team of HR professionals.

Your new job
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee recruitment, using the internal recruitment system, and manage recruitment campaigns 
  • Represent the business at recruitment fairs and events
  • Support the planning and coordination of employee social events and activities
  • Ensure compliance with all employment regulations, staying updated with Irish Employment Law
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters, including investigations and disciplinary processes when needed
  • Assist with the payroll process, supporting the finance team on a fortnightly basis
  • Support training functions, including conducting induction and training programs
  • Maintain accurate HR records, ensuring compliance and effective file management
  • Foster a supportive and safe work environment that encourages employee growth and development
  • Update and communicate employee policies in alignment with company standards
  • Provide daily operational support to the HR department
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the management team


What we are looking for: 
  • CIPD qualification or equivalent HR certification
  • 3+ Years in a Senior HR Generalist/Manager role within the hospitality, tourism, or service sectors
  • Strong understanding of Irish Employment Law, with the ability to stay updated on regulatory changes and ensure compliance within the workplace
  • Demonstrated experience managing Employee Relations issues, including handling grievances, disciplinary procedures, and conflict resolution
  • Proficiency in managing end-to-end recruitment processes, preferably with experience in high-volume recruitment 
  • Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to assess and respond to HR-related issues with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment where priorities can shift rapidly
