Matrix Recruitment are actively recruiting for a H&S Advisor for our client a leader within the engineering sector in County Dublin

This is a permanent, days role

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Health & Safety policies, procedures, and risk assessments.

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

  • Provide training and toolbox talks to site teams to foster a culture of safety.

  • Identify potential hazards and implement effective control measures.

  • Investigate incidents and accidents, ensuring thorough reporting and the implementation of corrective actions.

  • Maintain and update documentation, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

  • Liaise with project teams, clients, and contractors to address safety concerns proactively.


What are we looking for?

  • Experience: 3-5 years in a Health & Safety role, ideally on construction sites.

  • Qualifications: A degree or diploma in Health & Safety or a related discipline.

  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of Irish Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.

  • Industry Exposure: Experience in pharmaceutical projects (preferred) or with M&E companies.
