What You Need to Know:
Matrix Recruitment are recruiting for a Grade 3 Civil Engineer, to join our Environmental client, based in Dublin.

This is a permanent, full-time position on their operations team, with benefits on offer. It is a hybrid role with 2 days on-site. 

What You Will Be Doing:

• Supervising operational staff, ensuring site works are conducted safely and efficiently.
• Overseeing consultants and contractors.
• Conducting site surveys, inspections, and preparing reports and documentation.
• Managing projects, including preparation of planning submissions, tender documents, and reviews.
• Collaborating with user groups, environmental bodies, volunteers, and third-party organisations
• Performing safety inspections, risk assessments, and toolbox talks in line with organisational standards.
• Supporting organisational policies and strategies to promote operational excellence.
• Providing data for financial and progress reporting on projects.
• Participating in the emergency response team, with a commitment to attend call-outs promptly.

• Bachelor’s Degree – Civil or Structural Engineering (minimum 2.2).
• 2+ years post-qualification experience in an operations/maintenance environment.
• A valid driving license with access to transport.
• Strong knowledge of civil/structural engineering principles and health and safety in construction/maintenance works.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proven project management and problem-solving capabilities.
