Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Production Operator for our Client, based in the Wexford Area.

This is a Permanent Role.

Your new job

The successful candidate will perform a wide variety of tasks in the overall operation of the plant using Company Quality system guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction. These tasks will be in materials handling, mixing, filling and labelling areas. These will require a level of computer literacy, mechanical aptitude, and physical effort. This position is required to work on a shift pattern.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and perform production tasks (handling, processing, blending, filling, labelling).

• Maintain batch records using the FM Quality System guidelines to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

• Operate various machines as needed to ensure proper packaging of ingredients

• Prepare and maintain manufacturing equipment to ensure safe and hygienic operation.

• Conduct final quality checks before dispatch.

• Safeguard confidential company information and intellectual property.

• Protect all intellectual property, information and technology surrounding confidential processes and products using established legal safeguards to prevent a breach of trademark security within the Company

What are we looking for?

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent.

• 3+ years’ experience in Food, Beverage, or Pharmaceutical manufacturing.

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machinery.

• Aptitude for computers and demonstrated computer literacy

• Computer literacy; SAP and SCADA experience preferred.

• Teamwork, organisation, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

• Forklift experience is a plus.
