My client in the Plastics industry is looking to recruit a Process Technician to join their expanding team. This role is located in Co. Longford.

This is a 4 shift cycle job.

This is a permanent job with company benefits.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Validation of new moulds and machines

• Responsible for the operation of polymer processing

• Resolve technical issues.

• Assist in the development to support validation activities.

• Process optimisation.

• Work alongside maintenance teams.

• Ensure company manufacturing procedures/processes are adhered to.

• Maintains Process Control Records

• Work on continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects.

What are we looking for?

• Qualification in plastics/polymer/engineering or related discipline

• Experience as a Moulding/Process Technician – essential.

• Understanding of running Design of Experiments (DOE)

• Technical experience in moulding processes,

• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.

• Ability to work as part of a team.
