Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for a CAD and Order Coordinator for our client based in County Roscommon who are leading furniture manufacturer.  Our client is currently expanding and experiencing an exciting period of growth and innovation. With new opportunities on the horizon and significant advancement in projects and capabilities they are now looking to expand their team.

The CAD and Order Coordinator CAD and Order Coordinator combines technical drafting skills with administrative and operational expertise. This role involves producing precise technical drawings while coordinating and managing customer orders efficiently

This is a permanent, Monday – Friday position.

Your new job

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Cabinet Vision, and Arti CAD, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.

• Work closely with Designers, architects, and project managers to ensure design accuracy, attend review meetings, and incorporate feedback into final drafts.

• Verify the precision of drawings by cross-referencing specifications and measurements while ensuring compliance with project requirements.

• Accurately input and process customer orders into the ERP system, maintaining organised records and ensuring timely fulfilment.

• Develop custom product designs, generate component orders, and communicate specifications to relevant departments for efficient execution.

• Liaise with production, sales, and logistics teams to address order requirements, resolve discrepancies, and meet delivery schedules.

• Generate reports on order trends and discrepancies, assist customers and team members with technical aspects, and maintain version control for CAD files.

What are we looking for?

• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArtiCAD) with a strong ability to create precise technical drawings.

• Skilled in using order management and ERP systems for accurate order processing and documentation.

• Precise in ensuring accuracy in technical designs and order details.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to address design challenges, resolve discrepancies, and manage customer concerns.

• Effective at coordinating with cross-functional teams and managing multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
