Job description
Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Packaging Lead Role for our Pharmaceutical Company, based in the Clonmel, County Tipperary. This is a great opportunity not to be missed.
The Packing Lead will report into the Warehouse Supervisor & be responsible for assisting with managing and developing the warehouse function to ensure best practice processes and procedures within warehousing, and logistics are exercised to maximise effectiveness and efficiency. You must have a strong background in operations, ERP system’s and people management.
The hours for this role are 11am – 8pm Monday – Thursday & 11:30am – 7pm – 39hrs per week. Please note this is a permanent evening shift. Hourly rate €16.94 (€34,090 per annum)

Key duties & responsibilities:
Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of a busy Order Fulfilment Warehouse Operation
Management, of the Tertiary Packaging materials, inventory levels
Manage the daily distribution of orders
Ensuring processes and procedures are maintained to ensure maximum efficiency & dispatch accuracy.
Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
Maintain high standards in housekeeping and Safety.
Handling and insertion of light materials
Operating Lifting Equipment.
Undertaking visual inspections for quality purposes.
Remaining vigilant to defects or faulty materials.
Covering for the Supervisor in their absence.
What are we looking for?
2-3+ year’s work experience in a Warehouse/Logistics operations role within a fast paced / high through out warehousing environment with experience in team leading
Knowledge of warehouse software packages (ERP systems) and MS Office proficiency.
You must have good IT skills and demonstrate a can-do attitude with hands on commitment to getting the job done
Significant experience working in a Warehouse / Distribution / Logistics environment
Excellent planning and organisation skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Experienced in operating warehousing lifting equipment is desirable.
Excellent attention to detail with good manual dexterity
Adaptable and flexible
Ability to work as part of a team
