Our client, an expanding global organization, are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their Finance Team in Waterford. The company is expanding business operations and entering new markets.

Your new job

You will be responsible for the day-to-day financial activities of the company. This is a permanent role with an excellent salary and benefits package. Hybrid working is available, at 2 days per week working from home. You will report into the Financial Controller, and you will gain excellent exposure to all the activities in the Finance function.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Revenue analysis in terms of the cost of sales and margin

• Prepare sales and margin analysis by product and customer

• Analyze cost drivers and share results with relevant stakeholders

• Determine actions that need to be taken to improve processes and results

• Manage, train and support the accounts team

• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process

• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards

• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets

What are we looking for?

• Qualified Accountant with 2/3 years’ experience

• Strong commercial acumen, eager to learn, enjoy a fast-paced environment

• Excellent communicator and relationship builder

• Time manager and motivator

• Strong IT skills
