Our client in the engineering industry is looking to hire an IT Specialist – Systems Analyst to join their expanding team. This role is located in Co. Meath

Your new job

As the IT Specialist – Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for systems and processes, application management, vendor management, continuous improvement and service delivery. This is a multifunctional role and you will be expected to assist with other IT requests and projects.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract job Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm

INTERNATIONAL/OVEREAS TRAVEL IS A REQUIREMENT FOR THIS ROLE

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Application management (lifecycle, support, etc)

• Owning, managing, and coordinating application implementation projects

• Service-Desk coordination

• Workplace coordination

• Service Delivery (ITIL)

• System landscape management

• Assist with training plans to ensure that end-users are sufficiently trained to use newly developed and implemented solutions

• Cross-functional and flexible work practices

• Performing other related duties as required by your supervisor including relief for other members of the team.

• INTERNALIONAL/OVERSEAS TRAVEL IS A REQUIREMENT FOR THIS ROLE

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline.

• Experience in implementing complex interdependent system and understanding dataflows

• Experience working as part of a team towards a common goal

• Experience working in an IT Department

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to solve complex problems through technical solutions.

• Must be proactive, well-organised & attention to detail is imperative.
