Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for a HR Manager to join a well-established and growing organisation in the food sector.
This is a key leadership role within the business supporting both strategic and operational HR activities. Join a dynamic and collaborative team with a growing company.
This is a permanent role based in Wexford and it offers a 3-4 day work week.
Your new job
Key duties and responsibilities:
Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business needs and support organisational growth
Oversee the full employee lifecycle including workforce planning, onboarding, performance management, and retention
Lead the performance management cycle including mid-year reviews, appraisals, and personal development plans
Lead internal development programmes and succession planning initiatives
Manage employee relations, conduct, grievance handling and compliance
Actively promote employee wellbeing, engagement, and a positive workplace culture
Maintain and update all HR policies, procedures and the employee handbook in line with Irish employment legislation
Manage the payroll and compensation process
Ensure compliance in areas including GDPR, contracts, payroll inputs, and operational HR documentation
Use HR systems and workforce data to produce insights and reports for senior management
Keep updated on all employment legislation changes
What are we looking for?
CIPD qualified with a degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
5+ years’ HR experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Excellent understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practice
Proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on HR delivery
Strong communication and interpersonal skills – confident advising stakeholders at all levels
Experience with talent management, succession planning and organisational development
Adaptable, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement
