Your new job
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Manage purchasing activities for raw materials, ingredients, and packaging to meet production schedules.
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and place timely purchase orders to avoid shortages or excess stock.
- Liaise with suppliers to confirm lead times, negotiate pricing, and manage delivery schedules.
- Coordinate closely with production and warehouse teams to ensure material availability.
- Track and monitor stock movement, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimal waste.
- Maintain procurement records and supplier information in internal systems.
- Support the implementation of cost-effective sourcing strategies where possible.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to stock levels, purchasing efficiency, and supplier performance.
What are we looking for?
- 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, or Purchasing (preferably in FMCG or food production).
- Strong understanding of inventory control and purchasing best practices.
- Experience working with suppliers and managing order cycles.
- Comfortable using supply chain software and MS Excel for data entry and reporting.
- Excellent attention to detail and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and a collaborative approach to cross-functional work.
