Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Fund Accounting Consultant for our client, a global financial services company with offices in Limerick and Dublin.

In this position, you will be a senior member and will joining a dynamic and deadline driven team.  

This role will suit you if you have previous fund accounting and NAV review experience and enjoy supporting more junior members of a team.

This is a 9-month contract role with some possibility of extension or permanency. The company offers a hybrid working model.

What you will be doing:
  • Responsible for reviewing and signing off NAV calculations.
  • Mentor junior team members on the team as required.  
  • Assist in representing the team on cross-function process or project deliverables.
  • Participate in the implementation of new procedures within the team.
  • Identify relevant tasks for the project team and monitor progression.
  • Maintain accountability for the projects and assignments.
  • Participate in client servicing assignments and ensure that the culture on the team is focused on a strong client services delivery.
  • Assist in representing business to current clients.
  • Escalate relevant queries or issues as required.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across various departments.
  • Participate in the implementation of new procedures within the team.
  • Delegate assignments and tasks to team members as required.
  • Assist in providing feedback and recognition to the relevant team members, including project team members.

What we are looking for:
  • Third level qualification or pursuing a professional accounting qualification advantageous.
  • 3 years’ or more experience working in fund accounting and with NAV review experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to carry out presentations.
  • Excellent internal and external client-servicing skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Proven willingness to help others outside team.
  • Good prioritisation, organisational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrates good knowledge of standards and procedures required for own tasks
  • Excellent PC skills especially MS Excel.
