Your New Job:
We are looking for an Accounts Payable Analyst to join our global financial services, client in Limerick.

This is an exciting opportunity to work in an innovative environment that provides payment services to a range of client portfolios. You will play a key role in ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant payment services while collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders.

This is an 11-month contract, with possibility for extension or further opportunities. This employer offers hybrid-working, with 3 days in the office.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Register invoices, verify details, and ensure accurate indexing on payment platforms.

  • Manage vendor workflows, including independent verification and set-up on platforms.

  • Resolve client and internal queries related to payments.

  • Investigate and resolve payment issues promptly.

  • Conduct vendor validation via callbacks.

  • Verify invoices, process coding, and request approvals.

  • Perform payment reconciliations and oversee daily reporting processes.

  • Drive process improvement projects, presenting value to key stakeholders in the P2P process.

  • Ensure adherence to accounts payable procedures and policies.

  • Perform ad hoc expense analysis and take on project development tasks for process enhancements.

  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, escalate issues as needed, and provide support to your supervisor.


What We Are Looking For:

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, ACA, CIMA) would be advantageous.

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, ideally within a large multinational organisation.

  • Experience in financial services is beneficial but not essential—full training will be provided.

  • Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills required.

  • Bookkeeping experience.

  • Excellent attention to detail with a proactive, self-motivated attitude.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and contribute to team objective.

  • Experience in AI implementation is not essential but would be a bonus.
