Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a Production Operator for our Client, based in the Meath Area.
This is an 11-month contract role with a leading biopharmaceutical company.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Support the manufacture of biologic drug substances by operating and monitoring production equipment and executing tasks such as cleaning, validation, and in-process testing.

• Follow automated manufacturing recipes using paperless technology, carrying out cell culture, filtration, and purification activities to produce the drug substance.

• Set up single-use equipment and perform production runs in compliance with GMP and EHS standards.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing and standard work techniques.

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, right-first-time principles, and team collaboration as part of the company’s culture.

What are we looking for?

• A qualification in a science, technical, or engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).

• 0–3 years of experience in biotechnology or pharmaceutical manufacturing.

• Familiarity with working in a highly regulated GMP environment is essential.

• Understanding of biologic drug substance production; hands-on experience is an advantage.

• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work independently when required.

• Logical thinker with a proactive mindset and the ability to perform under pressure.

• Flexible, self-motivated, and committed to personal and team development.
