Matrix Recruitment are recruiting for a Junior Quality Technical Administrator for their client in Wexford who are leaders in the food manufacturing sector
Reporting directly to the Technical Manager, you'll be proactive in pursuing continuous quality and process improvement. This is a full-time position and would suit someone who is a graduate of Food Innovation and or Quality and is coming from a New Product Development or Lab technician background.

Your New Job:
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handling incoming materials and documenting daily production processes.
- Preparing samples for lab testing and analysis.
- Ensuring traceability for exported products.
- Maintaining up-to-date records of daily activities.
- Communicating cleaning requirements to the cleaners and ensuring documentation is complete.
- Managing and documenting any issues or non-conformities with suppliers.
- Managing schedules such as shelf-life, environmental swabs, and traceability (swabs, water).
- Ensuring that Standard Operating Procedures and related documents are up to date.
- Making necessary updates to product recipes.
- Managing and maintaining document control processes.
- Contributing to initiatives aimed at improving food safety culture within the organization.
- Providing support in the absence of compliance officers during holiday times.

- A background in the food industry or NPD / Technical / Lab administration
- Can articulate well, communicate effectively, and work collaboratively with the team.
- Shows confidence, innovation, and adaptability in their work.
- Has excellent organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
- Pays great attention to detail and is committed to maintaining high quality standards.
