What you need to know

My client looking to recruit a HR Officer for their facility in Tullamore, Co. Offaly.

You will report into the HR Manager.

This is a permanent job with hybrid working and company benefits.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Employee disciplinaries & grievances investigations

  • Recruitment, candidate screening, interviews, onboarding and job advertisements

  • Performance management

  • Payroll administration

  • Monitoring statutory and non-statutory leave

  • HR metrics and reporting

  • Assist in staff training processes

  • Assist in implementing HR programmes & employee wellbeing, communications & projects

  • Full clean Irish Driving License – travel maybe required for interviews in other locations - essential

What are we looking for?

  • 3rd level Qualification in HR – essential

  • CIPD qualified or working towards - essential

  • At least 3 years’ experience working as a HR Officer – essential

  • Must have knowledge of Irish Labour Laws - essential

  • Knowledge of HR systems i.e. performance management/setting up of new employees

  • Proficient with MS Office packages & IT systems

  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment

  • FULL CLEAN IRISH DRIVING LICENSE - ESSENTIAL
