What You Need to Know
Matrix Recruitment is currently recruiting for an HR Generalist to join our client, a growing, multinational company based in West Carlow.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, where you will play a key role in supporting the HR function and driving positive workplace culture.
This role is with a company that promotes progression and provide education support.
This is a permanent position, based on-site with some flexibility around working hours and options to finish early on a Friday.
Your New Job
Key duties and responsibilities:
Collaborate with hiring managers to support talent acquisition, including recruitment, onboarding, and managing the entire employee lifecycle.
Ensure the smooth running of payroll, benefits, and compensation processes.
Provide guidance and support to employees, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Drive the participation in and implementation of HR initiatives that foster employee engagement and satisfaction.
Contribute to investigations, litigation cases, grievance handling, and audits as required.
Work closely with leadership to address HR challenges and provide proactive solutions to foster a positive workplace culture.
Assist in creating, updating, and enforcing HR policies and procedures in line with legal and company requirements.
Support performance management.
Analyze HR data and key metrics to provide insights that support decision-making and improve operational efficiency.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with GDPR and data protection standards.
Coordinate administrative tasks for employees such as managing travel arrangements, organizing documentation, and preparing reports.
Ad-hoc HR administrative duties as required.
What Are We Looking For?
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
Associate CIPD membership or working towards it.
At least 2 years’ experience working in a HR Generalist role.
Solid knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and Irish employment law.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong decision-making skills and the ability to resolve problems effectively.
Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
Proficiency in MS Office and experience with HRM systems.
