Our client, a well-known construction manufacturing company based in Co. Roscommon are seeking a Finance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a group company.

The Finance Manager reports directly to the Group Financial Controller. This position will have full responsibility of the finance function and manage the finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for the right candidate who has a desire to advance their career.

This is a permanent position, working onsite.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Supervise both Accounts Payable and Receivable operations.

• Compile monthly management reports.

• Conduct bank reconciliations.

• Complete and file VAT returns and associated payments.

• Handle revenue submissions.

• Execute month-end journal entries such as revenue reconciliations, prepayments, accruals, and payroll processing.

• Aid external Auditors during year-end accounting procedures.

• Oversee miscellaneous projects as needed.

What are we looking for?

• Accredited Accountant with certifications such as ACCA/ACA/CIMA/CPA.

• Over 6 years of experience after qualification, preferably within the manufacturing sector.

• Proficient in utilizing MS Office and various accounting software.

• Experience in payroll and job costing is beneficial.

• Demonstrated capability in managing personnel.

• Effective communication abilities and outcome-oriented with meticulous attention to detail.
