What you need to know
You will work as a Finance Analyst for our client, a well-established and growing company based in Kilkenny.

In the position, you will report to the Financial Controller, and you will work very closely with a team of 2 Accountants and a Payroll Manager.

This is a permanent job with an attractive salary and bonus.

Your new job

This is a role that will suit a positive team player with excellent communication skills.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Support the accounts process across a number of legal entities.

• Assist in the preparation of quarterly management accounts and year-end financial accounts.

• Assist in the preparation of monthly journals, accruals, prepayments, income reports, and balance sheet reconciliations.

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.

• Ensure sales and purchase records are allocated accurately.  

• Assist in daily AR and AP tasks.

• Support the finance department on ongoing projects.

• Coordinate and liaise with external partners and internal clients as required.

What are we looking for?

• Accountancy qualification, PQ, Finalist or Fully Qualified or else qualified through experience.

• 2 or more years in accounting or financial analysis.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
