Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for an Artwork Co-ordinator for our client based in Citywest, County Dublin who specialises within the Medical Device & Pharmaceutical Industry. This company’s mission is to improve people’s quality of life with their pharmaceutical products. Our client is involved from the development stage all the way through to manufacturing and then to marketing. With current expansions, new opportunities on the horizon and significant advancement in projects and capabilities they are now looking to expand their team.

The Artwork Co-ordinator is responsible for managing the development, review and approval of artwork for medical device packaging and labelling. The Artwork Co-ordinator primarily role is to lead and monitor new projects in relation to packaging and labelling while ensuring all regulatory requirements are adhered to and co-ordinating with various stakeholders to facilitate a smooth artwork approval process.

This is a Temporary, Hybrid role - 6-month contract initially.

 

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Artwork Development and Co-ordination: Oversee the artwork for medical device packaging and labelling ensuing artwork complies with regulatory standard, company polices and branding guidelines. Liaising with graphic designers, regulatory affairs, marketing and supply chain teams to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Staying up-to date with all relevant requirements and ensuring all artwork meets regulatory and quality requirements before approval and production.

  • Project Management: Co-ordinate multiple artwork projects while ensuring deadlines are met.Ensuring filed records of all artwork versions, approvals and changes are kept.

  • Quality Control: Implement quality control checks to identify and correct errors before final approval.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate communication between all stakeholders and organise regular meetings to update stakeholders on relevant projects.

 

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Marketing, Life Sciences, or a related field is essential.

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an Artwork Co-Ordination position within the medical device/pharmaceutical industry is essential.

  • Experience with regulatory requirements for medical labelling (FDA, EU, MDR).

  • Proficient in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and have experience with management tools (e.g Trello, Asana)

  • Desired attributes: Attention to detail, organisational skills, effective communication, problem solving and the ability to adapt.
