Key duties & responsibilities:
- Identify & implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Leading production trials & process modifications to develop new and improved products.
- Coaching & mentoring junior engineers and operational teams to boost technical expertise.
- Driving Lean Manufacturing initiatives and ensuring operational excellence.
- Supporting maintenance teams and troubleshooting technical issues.
- Managing and delivering large-scale projects and capital investments.
- Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards.
What are we looking for?
- Degree in Chemical, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt Certification .
- 3+ years of experience in a process or project environment.
- Hands on experience in a Heavy Industrial Manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of heavy machinery & heavy manufacturing processes: (steam systems, heavy rotating machinery, & utilities).
- Key skills: Problem-solving, analytical & driven by continuous improvement.
