Our client in the Engineering Industry is looking to recruit a Lead Planner/Scheduler This role will be based in Co. Meath.

This is a permanent job. Full time onsite Mon-Fri

Your new job

As the Lead Planner/Scheduler, you will be responsible for production scheduling, shift planning, budget, forecasting & preparation of data analysis & reporting.

What you need to know:

• Be responsible for the production schedule & shift planning

• Schedule financial activities for budgets & forecasting

• Productivity data analysis and reporting

• Coach/mentor team members

• Optimise production workflow & performance

• Maintain and develop the Management Operating System.

• Ensure compliance of policies/procedures, health & safety & quality.

• International travel required for this role – must be available to travel

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree in mining/engineering or equivalent

• 5+ years of experience in underground mining operations, including a minimum of 2 years of experience in production and mine planning

• Project management skills are an asset

• Excellent knowledge of mine planning software, with working knowledge of Deswik being an asset

• Must have good analytical skills, good organizational skills, a high learning capacity, and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office software

• Good communication skills with strong verbal, written and computer skills.

• Flexible approach to work

• Strong interpersonal skills – an ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.

• Demonstrates a willingness to drive new opportunities and continuous improvements

• Full Irish Driving License
