Our client, a thriving and long-established Irish food group are currently seeking an HGV Mechanic to join their team in Co. Longford.

 This is a permanent role

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct fault diagnosis on a fleet of Vans, Rigid and Artic trucks, and trailers to identify mechanical or technical issues.

• Perform regular service maintenance on all vehicles, ensuring they meet safety and operational standards.

• Carry out repairs on trucks and trailers, ensuring timely and efficient restoration to full working condition.

What are we looking for?

• A formal qualification such as a National Craft Certificate, City and Guilds Level 3 in vehicle repairs, or an equivalent certification.

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.

• Strong organizational and time management skills, with a driven approach to prioritizing tasks and excellent attention to detail.

• A Rigid and Artic driving license is a plus.
