What you need to know
A leading and well-established manufacturer of high-quality building materials to the construction industry in Ireland and the UK is looking for a Finance Administrator to join their team based in Co. Longford.
As the Finance Administrator you will report directly to the Finance Manager and will support the Finance Department in an administrative capacity in all financial activities as directed by the Finance Manager and will be involved in all areas of the Finance function.
This is a permanent position working 8:00am – 5:00pm, fully onsite.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist in reconciling haulage records and delivery schedules with dispatch reports.
Ensure all dispatched goods are accurately invoiced and recorded.
Oversee customer credit terms for manufacturing and monitor compliance.
Confirm receipt of dispatch dockets to facilitate invoicing.
Prepare and send invoices along with required customer documentation.
Maintain proper retention records and accurately process cash receipts.
Track outstanding balances, follow up on overdue payments, and handle customer queries.
Provide administrative support for stocktaking and ensure correct data entry in Excel/SharePoint.
Regularly review stock pricing and generate reports on stock levels for management.
Verify and reconcile subcontractor, steel, and consultancy invoices against agreed pricing.
Assist in the preparation of monthly accounts, including accrual and prepayment listings.
Review estimates, ensure all costs are accounted for in job costing, and analyse profit margins.
Conduct margin analysis on manufactured kits versus estimated costs.
Support VAT preparation and submission of returns.
Maintain accurate RCT records and generate reports as needed.
What are we looking for?
A relevant third-level qualification in finance, business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years' administrative experience in a manufacturing or similar environment OR a finance graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a finance department.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
A logical thinker.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
