Our client based in County Offaly who are a leader in the manufacturing and designing of efficiency focused heating products, are seeking an Engineering and Facilities Manager to join their team.

In this role you will be a pivotal figure in providing leadership for the Engineering and facilities team.

Please note that this is 1-year fixed term contract. The hours of work will be on a Monday to Friday basis with the working hours from 8AM -4PM with a 3 PM Finish on a Friday.

Duties and responsibilities

• Managing the maintenance and facilities teams.

• Involvement in Scheduling and managing all subcontractors on site.

• On a daily basis Schedule, track and ensure efficient and effective use of maintenance resources to perform preventative and corrective maintenance.

• Effectively use and manage the Maintenance management system.

• Manage and ensure efficiency in the Engineering capex budget.

• Willingness to manage and be involved in improvements on the facilities on a current and future basis.

What we need from you

• Ideally Exposure to management in the Heating industry

• Awareness of facilities efficiency and budgeting at a management level.

• People orientated and able to manage and oversee personnel.

• Knowledge in Robotic cutting, bending, and welding would be an advantage.

Education

• Qualification in an Engineering discipline
