Our Westmeath based client who are a leading Construction materials manufacturing company are seeking an Electrical Supervisor to join their team.

Reporting to the Electrical manager you will be a key figure in the day-to-day management of the Electrical Technician team in projects orientated to Electrical and instrumentation work.

Please note that is a permanent position on a Monday to Friday daytime basis. The working hours is 8-4:30.

Your new job

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supervising contract staff, ensuring all safety systems and procedures are followed.

• Getting involved in the assessment, budgeting and delivering of current and upcoming electrical projects.

• Supervising electrical staff and maintain that project work is meeting expected goals.

• Handle Technician team in areas of workload, schedules, working hours and annual leave.

• Liaising cross functionally regarding project design and execution stages

• Involved in the training of staff regarding upcoming projects and new equipment.

• Overseeing and develop the electrical documentation and drawings system with respect to all new projects.

What are we looking for?

• Qualified Electrician

• Previous Electrical Supervisory/Lead experience in a Manufacturing environment

• Ability and exposure to plant orientated projects

• Ability to give direction and leadership

• Strong communicator and able to work well cross functionally
