What you need to know

Our client, an established manufacturing company based in Co. Leitrim, are seeking a Process Engineer to join their organisation.

This is permanent position, working week Monday – Friday.

The Process Engineer will report directly to the Moulding Production Manager.  

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Implementing a new tool for debugging, setup, and validation.

  • Streamlining processes through Design of Experiments (DOE) and statistical techniques.

  • Ensuring quality control, process capability, and maintaining relevant documentation.

  • Addressing process, equipment, and system issues using engineering principles and data-driven decisions.

  • Training and assisting Production Technicians.

  • Conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.

What are we looking for?

  • A degree in Polymer Science or a related Engineering field at degree level or equivalent experience demonstrated.

  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities are crucial for this position.

  • Proficiency in analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.

  • Competent in utilizing diverse types of moulding machines and related auxiliary equipment.
