Our Offaly based client is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to join their team.

Your new job

Reporting to the Commercial Director you will have key involvement in projects from design/contract phase to development/manufacturing and installation phases.

This is primarily a permanent on-site position, and the working hours will be Monday to Friday, on a daytime basis. Additionally, there will be travel expected to projects at installation phase which will be on an extensive basis.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Work on a variety of civil and structural engineering projects

• Collaborate with a dynamic and growing team throughout all project stages: from contract/design through to development, manufacturing, and installation.

• Manage and maintain strong customer relationships, acting as a primary point of contact for clients.

• Provide technical expertise and solutions to resolve engineering challenges independently when necessary.

• Daily use of CAD/SolidWorks to complete project work.

• Contribute to the overall project management, ensuring deadlines and project milestones are met.

• Report to the Senior Commercial Manager, keeping them updated on progress and any project-related issues.

What are we looking for?

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering

• Drafting experience using software such as CAD/Solid works

• Exposure to communicating effectively with clients

• Strong project experience, ability to work under timelines/deadlines

• Full drivers license
