Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Cabinet Maker for our client based in County Roscommon who are leading furniture manufacturer.  Our client is currently expanding and experiencing an exciting period of growth and innovation. With new opportunities on the horizon and significant advancement in projects and capabilities they are now looking to expand their team.

Your new job

The Cabinet Maker involves designing, building, repairing, and installing cabinetry for homes, businesses, and industrial spaces.

This is a permanent, Monday – Friday position.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design, construct, and install bespoke cabinetry and fittings using a range of tools and materials.

• Carry out repairs, modifications, and finishing work to restore or improve furniture and cabinetry.

• Ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.

• Liaise with clients and design teams to meet expectations and provide progress updates.

• Maintain tools, manage materials, and keep the workshop clean and organised.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, with desirable experience in cabinet making, including design, construction, installation, and use of various tools and materials.

• Proficient in repair and finishing work, demonstrating strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and an understanding of technical drawings, design specifications, and safety regulations.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients, designers, and colleagues.

• Highly organised and self-motivated, able to manage materials, maintain tools, and keep the workshop clean and efficient.
