The IT market has become increasingly candidate-driven, with fears that the growing skills shortage across Europe will impact the speed at which technological developments can be made by organisations.
Throughout 2019, we witnessed the shortage of available qualified, experienced IT candidates across Ireland. As a result, many companies set their recruiting strategies to other countries in order to get the skills and experience they require. The numbers of professionals migrating to Ireland will continue to remain steady in 2020 and may even see a large increase as Brexit becomes a reality.
