What you need to know

You will work as an Operations Manager for our client, a highly successful and established holiday facility in the South- East. You will be responsible for the business performance of the Golf facilities, holiday properties and clubhouse/ restaurant.

You will report directly to the board. This is a Permanent job with an excellent salary and benefits package. Flexibility required in terms of hours due to the seasonality of the business.

Your new job:

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Responsible for pro shop, full clubhouse facilities, property management and support services.
  • Manage marketing, promotion and sales and achieve KPIs required to ensure meet targets.
  • Lead, recruit, supervise, appraise, motivate and develop the team.
  • Ensure excellent communication with all staff.
  • Nurture a memorable level of service with all staff.
  • Ensure adherence to the health and safety procedures and practices in compliance with all regulations and legislation in particular Covid requirements.
  • Produce and implement sales and marketing plan, create sales culture,
  • Work closely with the financial controller in preparation of management reports budgets capital expenditure, for presentation to the board.
  • Review financial accounts cash flow and balance sheet.

What are we looking for? 

  • Candidate with excellent knowledge of golf and passionate about it.
  • Understanding of golf club operations, bar/ restaurant and property management services.
  • Proven track record of managing a similar operation ideally in hospitality and tourism sector.
  • Proactive can do will do attitude.
