What you need to know
Our client an expanding and long-established manufacturing company are currently seeking a Financial Accounting Partner for their South-East operation. You will be responsible for certain accounting activities in the plant.

This is a permanent role with a very attractive financial package.

This is a stand-alone role and you will report to the Finance Manager.

Your new job:
You will provide financial insights that will help to improve business performance and competitiveness. You will work closely with the operations team to achieve business targets.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Maintain fixed asset register, calculate depreciation, complete reports

  • Maximise R+D tax credit

  • Manage tax compliance for the legal entity and participate in global entity team reviews

  • Play a key role in internal and external audits

  • Support the completion of statutory accounts

  • Maintain all intellectual property legal agreements and contracts

  • Prepare monthly management cost centre reports for the managers

What are we looking for?

  • Qualified Accountant with 5-7 years pqe

  • Tax qualification would be advantageous and experience of SAP

  • Multinational manufacturing experience would be a preference

  • Proven track record, effective communicator, and influencer

  • Challenge performance to lead to improvements
