Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit-Senior Facilities Engineer- Mechanical for our well-established client, based in the Waterford area.

This is a permanent position & an urgent requirement for my client.

This is a facilities based mechanical engineering role – black facilities – HVAC, Purified water.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Management of all the facilities mechanical PEMAC system.

• Ensuring uptime of facilities equipment-utilising systems tools of RCM & PEMAC techniques.

• Completion of facilities capital projects.

• Plan and direct both the mechanical engineers and technician’s workload.

• SME on purified water/ shell & tube boilers/ sprinkler systems.

• Manage and control all aspects of facilities services.

• Ensure facility systems comply to national, international and regulatory standards.

• Assist with system re-design and optimization of plant services & equipment.

• Supervise 3 mechanical fitters and 6 fitters and one apprentice.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum Degree in Building Services /Mechanical Engineering or similar.

• 10+ years experience in Healthcare or Pharmaceutical.

• Must have H.V.A.C., Purified Water, Compressed Air, Steam, Sprinkler systems and general building services experience.

• You need to be familiar with all regulatory & statutory requirements:(FDA, ISO and HAS).
