Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a- Quality Manager for our client, based in the Kilkenny region.

Reporting directly to the Senior Quality Manager. In this pivotal role, you will oversee both the QA and QC teams, ensuring products meet the highest quality standards set by both customers and regulatory bodies.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the quality team, optimizing resources & skills.

• Ensure precise adherence to quality specifications throughout production.

• Liaise with customers regarding product specifications & address concerns or complaints.

• Guarantee compliance with DAFM, BRC, Bord Bia, and customer specifications.

• Stay abreast of food legislation changes and ensure the company's alignment with the latest standards.

What are we looking for?

• Essential 3rd -level qualification.

• 2-3 years of management experience in Quality within the food industry.

• In-depth knowledge of relevant quality standards.

• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and suppliers.

• Essential people leadership and interpersonal skills.
