Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit a- Production Engineer for our clients manufacturing facility, based in Cork region- East Cork.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Drive world-class performance in Safety, Quality, Output, and Equipment in our automated processing facility.

• Develop innovative solutions and preventive strategies using statistical knowledge and problem-solving tools.

• Utilize data analysis to identify trends, reduce process variation, and implement corrective action plans.

• Collaborate with the Engineering team to troubleshoot equipment and process issues.

• Lead continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing operational performance.

• Identify and influence stakeholders to implement innovative solutions for improvement.

• Work with equipment suppliers to drive changes for improved reliability.

• Collaborate with site teams to implement plans and recommendations.

• Produce reports and KPIs to measure and manage site performance.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Science or Engineering.

• Relevant work experience in continuous improvement or manufacturing.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Teamworking, planning, and organization skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• KPI-focused with leadership and influencing skills.

• Self-motivated.
