You will work as a Materials Planner for a manufacturing company in the Dublin/Kildare region.

This role is a permanent one and you will report into the Supply Chain Manager. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Your new job:

Key duties & responsibilities:

• The key element of this role will be the planning and ordering of packaging components.

• Convert production plans into packaging material requirements to ensure availability of the right quantity when needed.

• Build in warehouse capacities, inventory targets, operational and customer requirements.

• Ensure all material delivery schedules are communicated to suppliers on time.

• Minimize excess, obsolete, and expired materials – ensure prompt return of materials to supplier.

• Assist in sourcing and development of packaging options with a focus on sustainable solutions.

• Communicate effectively with operations.
