What you need to know 
You will work as a Marketing Manager for our client in the Insurance industry based in Navan.

This is a 12-month contract role with a salary of between 70k – 75k depending on experience.
Your new job 

Key duties & responsibilities: 

  • Manage a team of one Marketing and two in house Design professionals.
  • Manage and co-ordinate all marketing and design activities to ensure priority items are delivered to support and grow the business.
  • Ownership and responsibility for the day to day marketing activities relating to the three business lines.
  • Deliver a broad range of communications and marketing initiatives designed to support the overall business line strategy.
  • Manage the priority list of marketing and communication
  • Lead by example, motivating those in the team and business lines to ensure achievement of strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the function remains agile delivering an adaptable and flexible service to effectively manage dynamic change orientated requirements associated with a growth organisation.
  • Deliver a broad range of communications and marketing initiatives designed to support the overall business line strategy.
  • Manage the priority list of marketing and communication deliverables in the company.
  • Act as the marketing representative on key strategic projects and initiatives in (as required by role).
  • Provide marketing sign off on all externally facing literature.
  • Develop and deliver the corporate marketing and internal communications plan.
  • Play a key role as Project Team Member or Lead on the delivery of various GPE strategic initiatives.
  • Manage the Business Development Forum.
  • Host internal market meetings as required by the business.
  • Review and monitor performance against budget

Essential Criteria:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Marketing and Communications working in financial services.
  • Previous people management experience.
  • A commercial focus and strategic approach to aligning marketing plans to overall business objectives.
  • Proven experience in executing successful marketing campaigns across all marketing channels.
  • Advanced planning and organisational skills. Ability to deliver under tight deadlines to be adaptable to meet the changing needs of the business.
  • Strong influencing and communication skills.
  • Financial astuteness with a proven ability to drive KPIs and Metrics.
  • An ability to support, communicate and work cross functionally and effectively with the wider business teams.
