What you need to know
You will work as a Management Accountant for our client, a well-established manufacturing company based in Wexford.

You will report into the Finance Manager, and you will work very closely with the Finance Team.

This is a permanent job with an attractive salary and benefits package an offer. Hybrid working is in place 2 days from home.

The company will support your training and development and they are willing to take on a newly qualified accountant and give you the experience you need.
Experienced accountants will also be considered.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Analyse business unit performance, using KPI data as a driver

• Provide insights using “what if” analysis tools

• Evaluate the output from management reports and identify improvements that add value to the report process

• Maintain standard costs, review on an annual basis and compare to prior year

• Understand how the business drivers help evaluate all variances

• Assist your business partners in annual planning and financial forecasts, help them to understand the process

• Participate in projects as required and assist in business case preparation

• Prepare inventory movement reports and present the results to Director of Operations

What are we looking for?

• Qualified Accountant with 1 or 2 years p.q.e

• Manufacturing/Commercial experience

• Strong systems capability (SAP, Power BI, Excel)

• Present the bigger picture and challenge assumptions

• Strong influencer

• Can do, positive attitude
