You will work as a Team Manager – Investor Services (IRR) for our client, an Investment Bank company in Wexford. 

The Team Manager IRR is responsible for overseeing all aspects of work performed by their staff of Investor Relations Representatives. This includes the review and verification of all subscriptions, redemptions, and the production of confirmations and statements. In addition, Team Manager IRRs are expected to attend and contribute to client and operational meetings. A strong familiarity with the workings of hedge funds and a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and work effectively with corporate executives, staff members, and investors is essential for the Team Manager IRR.

This is a 12-month contract job.

Your new job 

Key duties & responsibilities: 

  • Be a leader and motivator and promote excellent client service standards, a customer focused ethos and advocate best practice at all times within the group.
  • Ensure client satisfaction, accuracy and productivity of work, and compliance with internal policy and external regulation. May assist in process improvement for the function.
  • Overseeing all aspects of work performed by their staff of Investor Relations Representatives.
  • Review and verification of all subscriptions, redemptions, and the production of confirmations and statements.
  • Team Manager IRRs are expected to attend and contribute to client and operational meetings.
  • A strong familiarity with the workings of hedge funds and a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and work effectively with corporate executives, staff members, and investors is essential for the Team Manager IRR.
  • Have a good knowledge of all Anti Money Laundering Legislation and Compliance procedures. Familiarity with all fund prospectuses for each fund within group is necessary.

Skills required: 

  • BS or BA in a business-related field preferred.
  • 6 plus years’ experience in Financial Services, preferably Investor Relations in a complex industry such as alternative investments.
  • 1-3 years experience managing people.
  • Knowledge and understanding of compliance and regulatory issues, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and anti-money laundering policies as governed by the USA Patriot Act.
  • Superior oral and written communication skills.
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and technical operations.
